What's this?
It came off a big tree, they look like brains and are kinda sweet smelling inside....like an orange almost. I licked the inside of one and then wondered what it was....
Anyone?

Looks like a hedge apple to me. Don't know what it tastes like as I've never licked it!
A Hedge Apple is exactly what it is; commonly known as the Osage Orange. Only the seeds are edible by humans. Licking them is toxic!
