Still no power

Out here, that storm took a lot of power lines down it seems. So, dinner is consisting of all the things in the fridge that need eating before they melt....or get warm at all....or might never recover....or that I just feel like eating.

Exhibit will run May 31, 2008 through June 28, 2008. Auction will be held with refreshments June 28, 2008 5-8pm.

The Lesbian Alliance with The Milwaukee LGBT Community Center is presenting an art exhibit of work produced by lesbian, bisexual, transgender and allied women from Wisconsin, the United States, and the world. This exhibit asks women to focus on answering the question: “What is your community?” Works touch a variety of subject matter that ranges from the political to the sensual to the abstract.

An auction with guest auctioneer Tanya Atkinson will conclude the exhibit on Saturday, June 28, 2008 doors open at 5 pm with the auction starting at 6 pm. During the date of the auction there will also be a performance art piece to participate in.

All events are free and open to the public.

P.S. Milwaukee is underwater too, disasters can open the world to new creation and relationships. At least that has been my experience.

Blue Moon ... you lucky dog...i had to settle for a corona. Power is up on this end since 5AM yeah.
So last year, after i grilled just about every thing i could grill in the freezer because we were out of power for a couple of days, a neighbor said do you have an electric stove? I said no, why? She said, your stove works the electric ignitor just doesn't work, when you turn the knob you have to light it with a match or starter. Last night as i boiled some noodles I was sooo grateful for my neighbor!
Hope your power is up as well.
